NCS is currently seeking an experienced Radiation Oncology Manager to join our Radiation Team.  This position will oversee the daily operations of the Radiation Oncology department and ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care. This position will also be responsible for managing staff, coordinating patient services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting departmental growth and performance.

 Other essential duties:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to clinical and administrative staff within the Radiation Oncology department.
  • Oversee scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective treatment services.
  • Monitor compliance with hospital/clinic policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Recruit, train, evaluate, and mentor staff to foster professional growth and a positive work environment.
  • Address and resolve patient or staff concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for senior leadership as required.
  • Support the adoption of new technologies, treatment techniques, and best practices in radiation oncology.

Requirements

  1. Radiation RN, Therapist or Dosimetrist in practice preferred.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Radiation Therapy, or related field required.
  3. 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of oncology operations, clinical workflows, and regulatory compliance.
  5. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), scheduling systems, and standard office software. Experience with the ARIA R&V system is a plus.
